Lesson Plans, grades K-12+
I am interested in seeing different lesson plan formats that teachers use. In particular I am curious to learn how formats differ depending on the Universities and Colleges teachers are trained at. Examples of lesson plans that have been adopted from internet sources are also welcome.
In addition to this, I am also curious about how often school leaders check teacher plan books and what feedback they give to teachers.

Funny you should ask as I sit here working on next week’s plans. I usually have an idea of where I want to go with each class PK through 4th grade for the year in order to meet the National Education Technology Standards, but as the year progresses things tend to change, be it student skills or operating technology. Weekly I fill out my plan book with the activities to be accomplished in each class. They are only as detailed as space allows, and if a sub is needed they do a completely different lesson. I keep more detailed plans including goals, objectives, methodology, in a folder on my computer for each completed lesson. This is for myself, as no one reviews my plan book or asks what I am doing in my classroom. All are welcome to enter, but seldom does anyone come.
The internet has a wealth of information and plans. One of my favorite sites is Intel for teachers at http://www.intel.com/education/teach/index.htm?iid=ed_nav+teach
There are teacher resources, tools and examples. You can do so much at this site – check it out!
